The next generation of Smith and Rogue base layers! Still made of a blend of merino wool, polyamide, and spandex; creating a one-of-a-kind fabric. Merino wool has many great qualities: moisture wicking, regulates body temperature, doesn't itch, resists odor, and is 6 times stronger than cotton. Although, merino wool is the softest wool one can find, the added poly content makes for an even softer touch and the perfect next-to-skin item. An added factor is that the spandex in the fabric gives the base layer recovery. But now with even more benefits and features. The Grid provides a superior warmth-to-weight ratio, increased breathability and moisture wicking make this the perfect piece cold weather activities.

Grid creates air pockets to trap heat when needed and allowing it to escape when not. Additional design features on this piece are thumb holes, a form fitting three piece hood allowing it to be worn under helmets keeping your head nice and toasty, reversed wrist panels to easily wipe your glasses or goggles, a pocket on the wearers left upper arm to securely store your phone, wallet, keys,etc. Lastly an access port on both wrist to access any peripheral electronics like a watch or biometric band without having to remove your thumbs, or gloves. The Skoltec grid is meant for those who desipte the cold temps that the NW can throw at you still want to get out and be active whether thats on the slopes, the trail, or in the backcountry.
