Nikwax Treated Hydrophobic Down + Primaloft Sleeping Bag

What do we mean by 50/50? This bag is down on top and synthetic Primaloft insulation on the bottom. The down on top is treated with nikwax to prevent moisture from putting a damper on loft (what makes down warm).

And the synthetic insulation on the bottom does two things. First being, this type of insulation provides a barrier against the ground. Meaning it resists compression better than down, which equates to warmer nights in cold conditions. Second, the synthetic insulation, if it happens to get wet, retains its loft characteristics and thus its ability to insulate.

Whatever the forecast (and where we are from the forecast doesn't mean much), don't sweat it.
