4 Season Goahti Tipi Hot Tent

A New Take on the Traditional Scandinavian Hut

The Goahti 8P is our version of a backcountry capable 4 season Hot Tent Tipi with a full covered mesh screened lining, dual zippered doors, and a heavy-duty waterproof floor. The inner tent helps to keep water and bugs out, but when running a stove, leave the inner tent at the truck. You may want to pair the tent with a good quality tarp for a footprint when running the stove, or just sleep right on the dirt.

When Elk season rolls around, and you have a trip planned for the backcountry, shed the inner tent, and pack only the canopy, pole, and some stakes. Packed like this it comes in under 9lbs. The canopy is made of a 40D silicone nylon shell that is DWR and PU coated to keep the water out. The inner tent is made of the same material, with additional waterproofing and a mosquito net to keep the bugs out. The pole is made from aluminum (2lbs 5oz) and holds the center of the tent at 8ft 6in.
