The Standard Issue Gloves are a lined (insulated with Heatkeep) pig skin leather glove made for cold weather adventures. These are designed and tested in Montana. We like them for winter chores or coat them with some wax and wear them up at the ski hill.
These gloves are a staple among ranchers and ski-lift operators across the Northwest. If you have never worn a pair of these leather originals, you will be surprised at the warmth compared to much more expensive products on the market. Pair these with Nikwax for spring weather and keep them on your hands until the spring Chinooks come and blow in the next season. Pig skin leather is more comfortable and resists the absorption of water better than many other leathers.
