Broken In Feel Right From The Start and It's Reversible

You never want to give up your broken in brown duck work vest because it took so long to break in that by the time it fits perfect it's also worn out. We found a solution and we call it Original Canvas.

We wanted a vest that could battle against the extreme weather we are accustomed to seeing and experiencing here in the Pacific Northwest. The Canvas Vest is tough as nails on the outside, triple stitched in high stress areas. Polartec Power Grid Fleece lines the inside (or if reversed the outside). Power Grid Fleece is engineered to optimize warmth and breathability, while keeping the overall fabric mass and weight down. As far as fit goes, we allowed for a generous fit, for adding and removing layers underneath.

Original Canvas is made from hemp fibers and poly fibers to bring ultimate strength and durability to this canvas. The word canvas actually originates from the word "Cannabis" which is the plant that is used to produce the hemp fibers. It is stronger and lasts longer than traditional 100% cotton duck fabrics.
