A High End Shell For Half The Price

The are no corners cut or sacrifices made in quality here. The fabric is made up of three layers, the shell, membrane, and inner lining (brushed nylon). This Jacket will not stick to your skin like a 2 layer jacket would. Tested at the factory, the SR3 is both 15k breathable and 15k waterproof. The shell is coated with a DWR to keep water beading up on the surface.

The SR3 is as versatile as it gets. Wear it as a wind breaker on an adventure bike ride, in your pack on a climbing or hunting trip, or in your car for the sudden downpour. Don't forget the pants to go with it, made from the same bomber Japanese material. We designed this jacket to accommodate layers underneath, like a puffy or hoodie when the temps calls for it.

The brilliance behind a rain shell, like our SR3 Jacket, is in the engineering. Water is eliminated from the equation, from elements both outside (rain, snow, waterfalls) and within (sweaty pits, backpack sweat). Hiking, hunting, BC skiing/split-boarding are all activities that burn a ton of calories. When you burn calories, you dump heat, and that heat needs somewhere to go (think the lid on the pot of boiling water or water on your walls after a hot shower). If your jacket doesn’t breathe, that heat will condense the air into water. In turn working against the whole idea behind a shell in the first place, to stay dry. No worries here, the SR3 is just as breathable as it is waterproof. It is in perfect balance, just like Mr. Miyagi.
