Broken In Feel- Right From The Start - Hemp and Organic Cotton
You never want to give up your broken in brown duck work jacket because it took so long to break in that by the time it fits perfect it's also worn out. We found a solution. We call it Original Canvas.
We wanted a coat that could battle against the extreme weather we are accustomed to seeing and experiencing here in the Pacific Northwest. The Chore coat is tough as nails on the outside, triple stitched in high stress areas. For mobility we built in to the armpits a flexible gusset. As far as fit goes, we allowed for a generous fit, for adding and removing layers underneath. On the lower back, a zippered pocket allows for tools, like fencing pliers, to find a short term home (or some hot-hands on the worst days).
Original Canvas is made from hemp fibers, organic cotton, and poly fibers to bring ultimate strength and durability to this canvas. The word canvas actually originates from the word "Cannabis" which is the plant that is used to produce the hemp fibers. It is stronger and lasts longer than traditional 100% cotton duck fabrics. Original Canvas is made of 54% Hemp, 14% Organic Cotton, 30% Recycled polyester with a premium Primaloft Insulation.
