The Smith and Rogue Skoltec base layers are made of a blend of merino wool, bamboo, polyamide, and spandex; creating a one-of-a-kind fabric. Merino wool has many great qualities: moisture wicking, regulates body temperature, doesn't itch, resists odor, and is 6 times stronger than cotton. Although, merino wool is the softest wool one can find, the added bamboo content makes for an even softer touch and the perfect next-to-skin item. An added factor is that the spandex in the fabric gives the base layer recovery, paired with a gusset - making them a comfortable layering piece.
