Our classic crew is made for longevity and comfort and we took our baby Alpaca fiber to a new level. With slightly more stretch than the Highlands Boot Sock, it's designed for everyday wear to keep up with you and whatever you're doing.
The fiber in these socks has a close connection with the ancient practices of the Peruvian Highland Shepherds. Ancient Incan culture valued Alpaca, perhaps even more than gold, a fiber fit for royalty. Alpaca is known for its many great qualities: natural and biodegradable, durable and stain resistant, odor resistant, insulates when wet, resists matting and pilling, wicks moisture, flame resistant (if you get to close to the campfire), lighter and warmer per gram compared to merino wool.
